Maintenance

This chapter describes the daily maintenance of the system and precautions when relocating or

storing the Storage and I/O Blade.

MAKING BACKUP COPIES

NEC recommends you make backup copies of your valuable data stored in hard disk drives of the

Storage and I/O Blade on a regular basis. For backup storage devices suitable for the Storage and

I/O Blade and backup tools, consult with your service representative.

When you have changed the hardware configuration or BIOS configuration, select "System

Information Management" and then "Save" of the Off-line Maintenance Utility to make a backup

copy of the system information.
